How Does Forever Young BBL™ Work?
Forever Young BBL uses light energy to stimulate your body’s natural restorative power. This med spa treatment prompts renewal and increased production of collagen and elastin. This resurfacing results in a refreshed complexion. Forever Young BBL is customizable so that the targeted areas and the intensity of the treatment is set to meet your individual goals and needs.
Forever Young BBL Proven Results
Studies have shown that, performed in a series over time, Trusted Source Cutaneous medicine for the practitioner Bitter, P. Cutis Go to Source Forever Young BBL firms and tightens the skin for younger-looking skin. Dr. Sarah Mess has seen the best results with a series of three initial BBL treatments to start with follow-up treatments at our med spa for maintenance twice a year. Treatments can be performed year-round, but many patients schedule their treatment series between September and May, so newly treated skin is not subjected to the summer sun.
Your Forever Young BBL Treatment
Treatment time varies based on the areas being treated and the number of “passes” being made. You can discuss your goals during a consultation appointment and Dr. Mess can let you know what to expect from your personalized treatment plan.
BBL is a series of very bright light flashes, and you will feel a slight snap, like a finger-flick, on the surface of your skin during treatment. Upon completion, your skin may feel warm and appear slightly reddened for an hour or two. This usually dissipates fairly quickly and you can use cool compresses to ease any discomfort. You will be advised regarding face washing, moisturizing and skin care products. Follow all aftercare instructions for optimal results.
The dark spots on your skin may turn darker, like coffee grounds, over the next 24-48 hours and flake off within 10-14 days, leaving you with beautifully even-toned skin. Your skin does not peel, so you can resume normal activities the day after treatment.

What’s not to love about smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin? Forever Young BBL delivers proven results with no downtime and it is suitable for patients with a wide variety of skin concerns.
